ok so has anyone ever found any modded bios for the a8n serires mobos
ive looked all over for one (mainly for the a8n sli premium) but i cant find :turd:
im pretty sure since the ai booster can use vcore up to 1.65 and the hard mod gets you about that so the bios should be able to also if it could be written that way

anyways just wondering if anyones scene it around or knows why it cant be done, thanks

well yeah im going to prob end up doing the hard mod but it is annoying when you know that its possible but its just locked by a program, if it wasnt possible then the ai booster wouldnt be able to do it so its gotta be locked in bios

unfortinatly i have no clue about modding mobo bios's

yeah...but whenever i try raising the voltage in ai booster my system always crashes and i have to reset the cmos. But if you do do that hard mod let me know how it turns out. Because my 1.45v max vcore is pretty damn annoying.

download modbin6 its a bios modifier u just gotta have a copy of ur current bios. i tried for me but i cant get tit to save my bios although it does make the changes to a temporary file

did you try it with the asus bios, i dont think it works with these guys

i dont know any of the fine dtails about bios anythig, but i say u should just downlad it and give it a try. its like 60 K if it doesnt werk, no big deal

Hey there. The system seems to have forgotten me. Reregged myself here.
The only modded bios for Asus that I ran across is the old bigfootbios mod from the earlier rev.sof the a8v line. It allowed oc'ing and locked pci. I actually am still using it. Haven't bothered to upgrade as it gives me all I want. Running at 1.6 on amd64-3500 winchester. Clocked to 2510 (apprx) 1 gb corsair pc3200 running flat out. The only change is the htt at 800 and the mem at 2.8.
Beyond that this board (chip?) gets squirrely, bad boots and corrupted drives at anythingbeyond a 250 . That's even with all else reduced.
