Default CPU spread spectrum value locked?

For some reason I cannot disable the CPU spread spectrum in my BIOS. It isn't highlighted like the rest of my values and it has an X on the far left side. I have updated my BIOS to the most current and still nothing. Any ideas?

Have you selected Advanced/Expert settings in the BIOS? Typically you will have to select it somewhere before you are able to tweak most settings. It's usually located at the top.

Read my post again. It's not the fact I can't find it, It's the fact I can't select it. It not highlighted.

I know that, you have to select a setting that turns the bios to Advanced/Expert mode. That "lights up" the spread spectrum and make it editable.
