Great temps--max Vcore (1.55) 2664 on the X2 And I was totally wrong about RAID 10 on the NF4-- I pulled two tof the 4 HDDs and it just Booted right into Windows! No loss in performancew according to HD tach...so I will now sing the praises of RAID10 to all and sundry!

well where did this build come from? CD you post so many builds at once its hard to keep up with the shear awesomwness of each of them. Looking really good though.

Very nice work man! Drilling a hole in each 7800GT takes a lot of confidence lol. That's a nice idea though, and it worked! The 7800GT's are loud? I have a VF-900 on my X1900XTX and it's not loud at all. Maybe because there's two GPU fans now... That's cool having an entire build made from parts from the forum. I hope that abit board and 660 are still alive. That CPU would rip it on phase.

I know peeps mke fun of Fatal1ty schtuff but one day I betcha they will be collectable. The GPUs stay at 40C continuously so I can't see how slowing down the fans would hurt...just more cables and stuff--I have the controllers...just wanted to avoid a major snarl of wiring...but they are the loudest part of the build for sure. Thanks for taking a look! I am really enjoying have the time to pull a few tricks out of my bag...the minute I saw the 900 I thought WCing! and it is working quite well. But honestly no better than the BT it replaced--it just looks a lot more interesting...

My spate of wierd luck continued on this mod BTW... I had just finished the leaktesting and was running some benchmarks and reached up to adjust the tricool fan switch and my knuckle impacted the running 200mm fan blade--and it snapped off.
Snapped right the heck off and fell on the floor. The rig began to shake like a washing machine with a bad load...I finished the bench and shut her down and spent a good while trying to figure out how the heck I was gonna glue that blade back on. I have ABS glue and stuff--but you know that stuff is crap--plus at about 5am I realised I was likely to destroy something else with the glue--I had already gotten away with drilling holes in a pair of 7800GTs and a no-leak WC loop--so I did the next best thing--I snapped off the opposing blade. What a PITA it will be to redo this whole rig--not only do I have to drain and strip out the gear I have to totally disassemble the top--and the only way to get at the top is by drilling the rivits and pulling the bay column apart. So instead I am running the fan on low so it won't shake and it still cools great. The PA160 is the thermal equivalent to a 3 X 120 rad--specifically a PA120.3 which is the best you can get IMO. So with that a Storm and a 655 pump from Swiftech the loop is working even at low CFM. So rather than focus on the unfortunate destruction of the key feature of the case I must keep my chin up and forge ahead. Next plan is to comeup with a nice way to mount all the Zalman Fanmates...I have one for the side panel and I need to use two more for the 7800GTs as they are hideously loud. Look for more photos soon!
