Update November 22st, 2007 - Overclocked more.
Today I reapplied some AS5 and reseated the Zalman to see if I would get some better temps, but it didn't seem to help. I upped my Vcore a bit and it's now at 1.425V and at 2.82Ghz It should be stable but I have to test it tomorrow. Before that I had upped the Vcore a little bit, tested it at 2.8Ghz, but it was only stable for 26 minutes, so I upped the Vcore a little more than that and added 2Mhz to the FSB, so it's now running at ~2820Mhz and at 34-35C at idle.

I am using AS5 and I'm sure I applied it properly. No need to reapply it again since I do it the same way every time

Update November 23rd, 2007 - Overclocked more.
Yesterday night I had upped my Vcore to 1.425V, and lowered my OC to 2.8Ghz on the spot. I now have a 2 hour stable oc (didn't test for any longer).

And the benches:

Yesterday I finally got my processor up to above 2.9Ghz Here's the proof:

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=276669

Of course it wasn't stable but still some pretty nice numbers for a s939 x2

Holy smack! How were you able to get a Manchester stable that high? Manchesters are notorious for topping out around 2.6-2.7GHz. You're lucky! Check my sig...I got my Manchester to hit 2.94GHz...but that was a suicide run and was only stable long enough to validate CPUz. It BSOD'd right after I validated, lol. I was only able to hit 2.55GHz stable with it. I know someone else with a Manny who's achieved 2.58GHz stable as a top. But 2.8 stable on a Manny....all I have to say is wow!

Haha It was no where near stable. I don't know how long it would have lasted but it let me validate CPU-Z and come on here to post, and it never BSOD'd, I just restarted it so I could see if I could get to 3Ghz, unfortunately I didn't make it XD.

It's not completely stable at 2.8Ghz. The processor is stable (I'm pretty sure, I know 2 hours isn't long with Orthos but hey, it's a start), but I don't think my RAM is.

Do you think if I loosen my timings a little bit it will help it stabilize? What timings do you think I should use? I tried 2-2-2-6 and it wouldn't POST. Anything under 3-3-3-6 and I don't think it'll boot.

Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

I'm pretty ticked off right now...Me and my dad just spent 2 hours cutting out this fan hole, mounting it and everything...and it doesn't make any difference in my temps? This is just dumb and I'm starting to think my temps will never go under 30C at idle...

We cut the hole out with a CNC milling machine, mounted it...and it doesn't even have a fan grill on it! Just the fan blowing in (suppose to be?) cool air...but no difference in temps. It blows air DIRECTLY onto my Zalman...Shouldn't this atleast decrease it by 1C?...Also, for some reason, in Everest, my core temps will be 38C one second, and then 28C the next, all at idle...is there something wrong here?...
