New MB, new RAM, new CPU, new PSU, used GPU (by me)... same old DVD Drive, same HD...

I replaced the battery and nothing, also my HD doesn't make any noise...

Why did you post that? This is about helping me fix my computer and hoping I didnt just let grandma waste $230. Not about a avatar.

I think my HDD is dead, it makes NO noise at all... Normally I could hear it turn on with my old system but now it's like completely dead.

Even if the HDD is dead I would think that you could post to the bios before it accesses your HDD. Is your HDD in the primary IDE slot. Sometimes your DVD-ROM, DVD-Burners etc. have jumpers on them. Make sure it is set to by cable management or have one set to master and one set to slave on the #2 IDE channel and have your jumper on your HDD set to Master on the #1 IDE channel. Sometimes these jumpers can cause problems. I don't think it will be the issue but we are grasping at straws here now.

Yes I would set your motherboard on the anti-static bag the motherboard came in if you are going to try to have it set up out of the case.

Where do you choose the jumper, it doesn't even post BTW...

Why not try booting without the memory installed, you should get the beep code. If it was grounding or something to that sort the power supply should trip and shut down right away. Try booting without the vid card installed. Did you remember to apply thermal paste? Is the cmos reset jumper in the "reset" position? If so, move it to the correct position.

Remove EVERYTHING that isnt neccessary. Hard drive, floppy, cd, fans, lights, whatever. Just Video, memory and CPU and see if it posts. If nothing after that then, try booting without the vid card, and then the memory see if you get any beeps.

Edit, is there a loose screw sitting on the mainboard somewhere? Did you scratch a trace on the mainboard when installing stuff?

the MB doesnt have a speaker, all i have connected is the PC, GPU, and PSU.. the MB doesnt have onboard Video, it might be the GPU though.... I'm not sure but I'll try again

Can you test the parts in a nother rig? You need to get a speaker on that thing. It will tell you if it's at least trying to work. Without that, youre really in the dark. Steal a speaker from another rig if you can.
