Higher FSB = Higher Performance. If you have to increase the voltage on the NB slightly to achieve a higher FSB what negative are you going to experience? Why would you have to increase your PCI voltage to increase your FSB?
Is the Brisbane overclocked to 3.2GHz going to perform better in SuperPi or the like? Yes. Is it going to increase your gaming experience in any significance to justify the $140 expense? In my opinion it will not, that is if having a superb gaming experience is your goal.. Few that upgrade from one AM2 X2 to another X2 processor are impressed with the performance increase. If you want to have a high overclock with marginally better benchmarking numbers, then indeed go for the Brisbane BE. Posting high overclocks and impressive benchmarking stats is really fun and definitely something that is enjoyable. So you just have to ascertain what your objective is and make your decision on that. If your Ballistix do not overclock I would unload those suckers. They will draw a premium on eBay because of the name alone and what you make off the two sets will likely pay for a new 2x2GB kit that will overclock good. A set that will not limit your overclocking and performance goals. Like this G.Skill 2x2GB Kit with a Cas Latency of 4 like your Ballistix set.

Multiple reviews on the 5000 BE show that it is slower than the 6000 and 6400 stock, even when the 5000 BE is overclocked to 3.3 GHz...
In most gaming tests there's a 35-70% fps gain between the 4400 Windsor and 6400 windsor...and I only have a 4200EE Also... Big Edit: Found out my computer shutting off is actually a newfound problem with ASUS's M2N32-SLI Deluxe boards... (or new to me, and I couldn't find many other similar problems)... I'm going to try and RMA the board as fast as possible... Life will be hard without a computer :P

I have the 700W OCZ myself and its been a good PSU for me. Hasn't cut out or done anything weird and its taken everything I've thrown at it. And IMHO, the BE series processors are the way to go. Multiplier OCing rocks! I'd be interested to see these reviews though.

I read all 31 pages of this review...
http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/10/...t_overclocker/ I've found out that it was my motherboard that was cutting power on me at random, not my PSU... So really I do not need a PSU anymore, but I'm still interested in buying one for more Amps on the V rail.... I only have 27 A cumulative... Trying to get an RMA from ASUS before my 1 year warranty wears out... or is it 3? I'm definitely stuck between the 6400 and 5000 Black Editions... I'm probably going to lap my HSF and trying to get >3.3 out of the 5000 BE at higher voltages... The 6400 is better, but it's like $50 more?, hotter, and uses more power... Power consumption doesn't really matter to me, neither does $50 if it's that much better for gaming... But I don't think I can cool this beast overclocked with an AC64 :P
