Not bad on a budget!
My system total is sitting at around $14K, mostly from over-aggressive tuning which caused hardware failures.... I will break 20K on Mark06 yet, damn it :-)

I'll check that out? Is that card also good for hardware acceleration?

One more thing, my monitor is only VGA and only 1280/1024 max.

And will this cheap sound card be a good upgrade from onboard sound?

$29 dollars at the egg

If you've spent that much on your system, then I would highly recommend going on eBay and picking up one of the PCP&C Turbo-Cool 850 SSI PSU's that are on there! Enough wattage to do everything you need, and the voltage stability of the Turbo-Cool 510 SLI.... can't get any better than that for maximizing your OC! And I have two of them, both of which I got on eBay (refurbished), as well as a PCP&C Turbo-Cool 510 Deluxe (just doesn't have the SLI plugs). I got my first one for about $120 shipped, and my second one for about $110 shipped. Seriously, one of the best PSU's in the sub-1KW range for extreme OCing... And you can't beat the price! Not to mention they maintain their 5 year warranty...

EDIT: didn't read down and see the "in debt" part though...

^^ I know that she (my computer) still needs some things... I sank what money I had where it counted the most, sans the extravagant optical drive... once I pay off a few bills, I was planning on picking up a Thermaltake 1KW
