Well I would get rid of the sound card for sure. The onboard will sound just as good. Audigys are eh...
Dumb it down to 500 Gigs. You don't need an 850 Watt PSU Home Premium 64bit http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=39090076 8800GT http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=42021591 Thermalake 600 Watt http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=34040066 Samsung Monitor 20 inch http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=27020691 Gigabyte Mobo http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=28022637 Case http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=16010099 2gig Corsair Ram http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=37060314 500 Gig Seagate http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=22040159 Intel Quad. http://www.mwave.com.au/newAU/mwaveA...K&sku=19010093 That comes out to about $1796 That give you room to squeeze an optical drive and speakers in there. You can also still go with the ATI card. Its your call. I'm half asleep and the site is really really slow for me. Sorry if I missed something.

Thats nice. But.... He specifically asked me to give him 4 gig ram, and 1Tb Hdd and im gona stick with the phenom since its the cheaper option. Also i heard that if you buy the case with a PSU in it, they generally blow up quicker.

I wouldn't put a 1TB drive in there if I were you. If that thing fails and he loses 1TB of files... oh man, there'd be tears then rage. Why don't you get him three 320GB drives and put them in RAID? Or at least two 500GB drives in RAID 0 for better performance.

Just a thought... if you wanted to buy from NewEgg and ship to me, I could reship it to you... would possibly save you lots of $$.
