Default What am2 motherboard would you reccomend?

Hey guys, i just bought an am2 6000+ 3.0ghz cpu. I've also bought my case, so im looking for other parts, the ones i've decided on are in my sig. I'm just wondering what a good mobo would be, i'd like to have crossfire, and preferably a nice coloured one .
Anyway, thanks guys,
Chif

My board is really good, it also leaves room for possible upgrade to AM2+ CPUs in the future. Its the cheapest AM2+ overclocking board available.

lol.. you can even run 4 dual slot cards with this motherboard... although you'd need a very large case.

For about $130.00 you could get The same board as me. The M2N SLI deluxe. If you have more you could get an EVGA 590 SLI. Either or I am starting to like this board more and more.

My board "This ASUS" Also supports Phenom QUad-core with an easy Bios update.

"Support" and "Made For" are two different things. My old AM2 board had a BIOS update to support the Phenom quads as well, but the HT link speed is limited to 1000MHz vs 2600MHz on a AM2+ board.

Yea, I never said that it wasnt. THE AM2 Board have their Limitations for Phenom support but it does however support them. I wasnt even aware if the AM2 cpus worked on AM2+ But I just never read up upon that because I had intened going to intel. This board is a badAZZ board. And so is yours. Im not competing. You wanna bench me sometime let me know.

And thefunny most intersting thing about your post is your reccomending a board for AM2+ and Phenom which is fine. Which he stated he is currently using a 6000+

Hey sorry guys i've been away for a day or so.
I'd say 100 - 170. This deluxe board sounds alright, where did you get it from sublime0? I think i read your log somewhere, did you have the raidmax case? I'm getting the same

*edit* Oh and sorry guys i may have mislead you with me cpu, the one i've purchased is an
AMD ATHLON 64 X2 Dual-Core 6000+ (3.0GHz/2x1MB/AM2), so im not sure if what i first wrote gave you enough info.

Chif, you said you wanted a Crossfire motherboard right? Apparently the previous posters didn't read that, the SLI motherboards being recommended won't run Crossfire. This ASUS M2R32-MVP is a good Crossfire board for the money, just $117 in the US. Hopefully you can find it in Australia, I'm sure you can it's a popular model. It's used by many OCN members with good results.

And yes, your original post was more than enough info to let us know that you have the socket AM2 6000+ I think AM2+ boards are being recommended because they'll run socket AM2 CPU's like yours, but they can also run Phenom CPU's, which may some day actually be worth the money, maybe... lol. Until then, you're fine going with a socket AM2 board. If you ever upgrade to a Phenom, I can almost promise there will be motherboards out that make today's AM2+ boards look like a pile of... well you know
