Looks like a nice build, but I would save some $$ and not get the PhysX card. Ageia was bought by nVidia, and the card is going to be discontinued.

When running 4 GPUs you should be careful of making sure that you are getting single slot coolers since dual slot coolers will block all other PCI slots. You wouldn't even be able to use that soundcard let alone a PhysX card. Plus the PhysX card is a waste of money.

You also won't need a PSU so powerful. I saw a site that ran a fully loaded CrossfireX machine and it used ~530 watts at load.

I knew that Ageia was bought out by NVIDIA, however, I didn't know that the PhysX cards were going to be discontinued. Does that mean that ATI people will have no access to physics processing until ATI releases their own, or is NVIDIA going to continue to make stand-alone cards? As for the PSU, it says later in the paragraph that going bigger is leaves you safer than sorrier, so I dunno. Also, the Sapphire HD3870 is a single-slot design leaving all ports open. Thanks so far!

Yeah, but 1200 watts is a little overkill. A 750 would probably serve you just as well and then you could keep some money in your pocket.

Good point. Now I know fans do draw that much, but with the aftermarket fans would you beef it up a bit or no?

Quick question, Why? My Dual HD3870x2's are just as powerful as those 4 HD3870's. I still have the power of my Intel X38 and E8400. Less card space needed too.

EDIT: the NZXT Zero doesn't have enough space for 4 dual slot cards.

In some cases it costs less to get 4 of the 3870s than 2 3870 X2s. Also the sapphire version is a single slot solution. Although, I agree that going with intel for the processor would be the better(more powerful) choice.
