As for the Heatsink, there is a special mechanism on the board and HS to lock it in place. Refer to the instruction manual that came with your CPU/HS combo.
A HS fan for your gpu is not necessary, since the one on there is adequate, if you have decent airflow in your case. If you are going to oc it I suggest watercooling, imho.

Oh ok, well looks like that'll save me 50 odd dollars then. It's just my current gpu runs fairly high temps, but then again my airflow is terrible. Thanks heaps for the info

Will the cpu still bottleneck even though it's a dualcore? I'm only getting a single 8800gt for now, i'll add another later on if i feel the need. Thanks for the info, you're potentially saving me a few hundred bucks
