Default AMD Spider PC build

i'm planning on going with a complete spider build for Xmas '08 and build it throught Q1 '09 most of this stuff is not coming out till around the time i start building so i might as well.

CPU: Phenom FX 45nm
GPU: HD4000?
HDD: seagate 500gb 32mb
RAM: G.skill DDR3-1600
PSU: 1000w OCZ Elite Xtreme
Mobo: i have no idea yet.
Case: Cosmos S
Fans: x5 120mm UltraKaze fans@133 CFM

i already have O/S and DVD drive and i'm getting cosmos S case soon with the HDD and fans and PSU.

looks nice but why plan so far into the future? by the time its actually to the point that the parts are released they might be different... its not bad to plan that far ahead to get an idea but to build a whole rig? lol

(and by then intel will have smaller processes and AMD will have larger TLB bugs? :P)

I have the Asus M3 series wifi and I like it. My son has the Gigabite and its capable of 16 gbits of ram and has a very nice bios. both board are good but stay away from the MSI board. The bios is totally flubbed up and their Promise archetechture is being revamped. Also i would go with a faster HDD. I have the seagate and they are the best but if your going to use seagate, use 2 in RAID 0.
