what is an architecture and what happens if you add a processor that is faster to a Pc? by that i mean what if i added a CPU that my motherboard doesn't use like i have have an athlon +3800 2.0 GHZ on my computer, what if i add an athlon +5000 or +600 3.0 GHz. i talked to the company but they don't experiment with CPUs and motherboards?

one more thing that i forgot to ask what abouty the opetrons, durons and semprons, what happened to them, arn't they gonig to be dualed or quad?

In other words you have PRE-BUILD proprietry PC such as Dell or HP and you want to know if they motherboard in your PC will cope with a faster CPU ?...Yes ?

yes i have an acer aspire t180 and i want to know if i can put a faster CPU on it, I mostly want o know if i can use the Phenom or a quad core on it, or if i can just upgrade my dual core to a faster speed?
