To be safe you need at least 800 if you hit close to 740.

thx for the future help guys.
Personally, I would stay away from XP 64 still, it's not perfect.
Also, seeing how close the prices are, the 8800GTS 512 looks tasty, and make sure you get a good mousepad. If you buy a gaming mouse, treat it with some respect.

I figure xp 64 would be the best for gaming cuz im not too into linux yet and i plan to upgrade ram if i need to (2 3870x2 for example)
i actually changed the gfx card to ASUS EAH3870X2/G/HTDI/1G Radeon HD 3870 X2 1GB (512MB x 2) 512-bit (256-bit x 2) GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
and i have a razer eXactMat...i love it. thx for the warning tho.

also, thx for the wattage tip. i thought i should go higher but didnt want to spend extra if i didnt need to.

sry to have another q but can anyone see wat connectors i need with my psu. or will any psu setup work with 800 or 850 watt?

UPDATE---Once i sell my pball gun (lnib ego08), im going to buy everything. so a month at most im guessing
