Great system, I'm loving it!
Just make sure the radiators come before the refrigerators in the loop, otherwise they will heat the water to room temperature
Yes, nategr8ns, it's the fan connector, you've won!

About the cooling...

There will be 4 separate loops:
- 2x Reserator @ Eheim 1048 plus 2x radiator extensions, for each HD3870X2 one loop.
- 1x Water chiller (Hailea Ultra 1500) for the CPU
- 1x Dual or Tripple radiator for the NB, SB and 2 HDD (RAID 0)

@all
Thank you very much for your positive feedback! That encourages me to continue the project and to put all my lifeblood into it.

And I fully agree with lemans and thlnk3r: "I want results!"

I would think that since marble has a very-high specific heat, only about 12% less than that of water, it would serve as a massive heat sink. However, it is sitting on a water cooling block, so who the heck knows?

Also, to the OP, it is customary to proceed the thread title with '[Project].'

[UNDERWATER SESSION - PREPARATION]

When we turn away from Triton's endless deep sea and look up to the firmament of an eternal nightly sky, we're graced with myriads of shining stars which almost seem to kiss the observer's eye. These stars are the visible centers of entire systems whose satellites behave under influence of the 2nd strongest force in universe, the force of gravity, to each other.
The weather on such a satellite depends on various factors but the coldest regions are obviously the poles. The polar regions of our planet are ice cold places, and so could be the motherboard's one.

- While the North Pole seems to be the cooler region here:

(High resolution NASA satellites pictures from the CFX3200 North Pole)
In summer

In winter

The above pics show actually the NB before and after a test with very low temperatures, the result was a following grill party with the frozen LANParty.

Condensation is one of Triton's forces that shouldn't be thoughtless underestimated; disrespecting it, will be immediately punished with high costs and a waste of time and hardware.

Triton's deadly force @ 14°C

Triton punishing RAMDAC's disrespect by killing a HD3870X2 (condensation at the red marked areas - one invisible drop was visible deadly)

Temporary testbed with only the chillin' CPU @ h2o

The continuing of the project, combined with an investement of time and money, was also a question of the sense; will it produce a visible betterment of the performance?

The configuration reached on air an absolute maximum of 3030MHz. The maximum frequency of the h2o chiller config. is not tested yet but a first visible increase of speed is shown already at first boot through CPU-Z

The temperatures @ stock speed (Hailea @ 18°C)

The CPU temperatures full load @ 3060MHz were about 38 - 40°C (Hailea @ 18°C)
The first successful testing is motivation enough to look above the horizon of the deadly wounded HD3870X2 and to continue the vivid experiment

Right now the entire CFX3200 is completely wet once again and as soon as we've finished anew our common weekly barbecue party, we'll continue with the common diving. The board says (while drunk) that with some help it could reach 3200MHz and even more.
Somehow I trust its drunken words!

A propos drunk... this is the result of a Reserator vs. Ultra Chiller party; 5 empty bottles and an almost finished frost guard too!

I'll say it again, because it bears repeating:

Beautiful, man. Simply beautiful.

[UNDERWATER SESSION - EXPLORATION]

Temperatures

On our search for a perfectly cooled scuba system, we'll need to keep in mind our overview, instead of focusing single aspects. So we travel up to our solar system once again, actually to Sol itself.
Hydrogen, the main element used to produce the sun's heat, is at the same time the main element used to cool our h2o pcs...

The CFX3200 has no time for such thoughts and it had enough of the boring grill parties; therefore it took a nap on a sun chair for a while.
I have to admit that the board got drunk like never before and when I took the battery out of the socket, I've found a little lake amid.

After that incident I wasn't even sure if there would be any upcoming parties with the LANParty. The first testing afterwards was negative; the board's lights lit on but without any reactions when pressing the EZ power button.

But who said socket 939 is dead???
Being in coma for a few days means nothing to a real S939 board. Perhaps it was even not in coma, just too lazy to work, who knows?!
Anyway, losing the overview and focusing too much on profane things such as sunbathing, teached the board a painful lesson.

While the CFX3200 enjoyed its spring break, dark clouds arose on the horizon.

The Dark armada came silently at night, occupying the CFX3200's beloved home, the Antec 900.

That situation produced a chain reaction which resulted in the homeless CFX3200 occupying my office table.

But all that doesn't really matter as long as it's working! And it does!

(Hailea Chiller @ 17°C, one loop, no extensions)

@ stock speed (C'n'Q enabled)

@ 3060MHz Idle / Load

The sensor measured the coldest region (SB Heatkiller)

And the hottest (MOSFET Heatsink)

Further research is required before...
