No apparently I didn't read the fineprint on the auction. I won't be able to pick up the processor until Friday though I paid for it today......oh well it was only $10 bucks. I'll make a post then for ya.

On a positive note, I also got a 22 inch LCD (don't know what brand), a Mac 15.4" laptop (it's got a Core 2 Duo but I don't know what it is offhand), the 9950BE processor in a motherboard w/o the HSF, and a Dell PC with a Core 2 Duo all for $100 bucks. None came with hard drives though....gotta love colleges auctioning off unused crap. I might use the Mac but everything else is going to sold to make up the grand I need to save up for the FX-82.

Every semester my college auctions off a bunch of crap. If there's anything laying around in the departments, they just send it to the auction to be auctioned out. Well the 9950 was sitting in a motherboard with no HSF or label on it. Well when I looked at the processor, it says HD9950xxxxxxxxxx. Well there's only 1 9950 and it's a black edition quad core so I said what the hell, I'll bid $30 bucks on it and apparently I was the only one to notice. Minimum bid is $10 on anything and people bid up from there but it's kinda like a silent auction where you just write your name on a piece of paper and move along and others do the same if they want to outbid you.

Nice I want to try OC'ing using the AMD Overdrive utility. Supposedly you can get better OC's using it.

That board has also hit 4GHz with the 9950 and 4 x HD4850s. I'm trying to work it into my next build... hehe

Okay I got the 9950 to post in the board finally by having to dismantle my other machine as well......

I had to take my 6400+BE out and put it in the board, boot up and then flash the bios to the current version then reboot up to make sure that it worked. Then I put the 9950BE in and it booted up fine.

Bios Link: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/suppor...D=en-us0000003

I won't be able to post any SS or do any overclocking in it for a bit though as I need to buy more HDD's so I can put one into the machine. I though I had a spare laying around but I don't and all my other HDD's have data on them that I want to keep. I'll check out eBay or some e-tailers or retailers clearances to see if I can get one that I can use. I'll post back for you soon. I'll also take a pic of the BIOS screen for you as well.

Yup It's not considered the top board for nothing. Just remember that when you do buy this board, buy the long Crossfire Bridge as well because it doesn't come with it and the one that it does come with is too short to reach between the 2 x16 Crossfire PCI-E slots.
