well it seems the site that i got the motherboard from has just changed the title of the board under there product listing to the K9A2 CF-F 790X.........so i might not be getting the K9A2 Platinum after all......but who knows, i mean i got the right ram sticks that were 50 bucks instead of neweggs price of 90! lol

i guess if i get the wrong board i'll just end up selling it here and getting the Platinum from somewhere else. also if anyone is interested in where i got some of my parts, go check out teckwave.com. i think thats it. if not just google it

K9A2 Platinum is a 790FX board. The one you got is a 790X board. So yes, they are different.

they had it listed wrong on there site. i wanted the 790FX, but i might just settle for this board. idk yet

got my Cooler Master 690 today. the thing is pretty big i must say. im going to be painting the frame black/or flat black. then the hard drive racks, screws, drive clips, and card clips red. I wont post pictures of the 690 as it is now.....because im sure you all know what that case looks like, so i'll post pics when im done painting it.

also i got screwed on my motherboard like i thought, so its gona be the 790X board instead not too happy about it......but o well
