Hi people i'm based in the UK am needing some advice as i'm going to be building my 1st gaming PC.Its gonna be done on quite a budget.I've got a bugdet of about £400 obviously not including monitor,OS keypad and mouse.
You will not have a clue which stores we use over hear so here is a couple but i will do a more intensive search to better the prices once you have come up with a few ideas. http://www.aria.co.uk/ http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ Cheers people in advance |

Cheers SZayat if i say hid some money from the wife and could pay £50-£100 more to spend where would you spend that on maybe 5600 and/or better graphics card.
Also how upgradable is this system and what made you choose the parts you did? Thanks again for your reply ![]() |

no problem
![]() I don't see any reason to change the graphics cards as its one of the fastest atm. however, if you don't have plans to overclock then a faster stock CPU would be a wise replacement. I'd also consider adding a soundcard, like Asus Xonar DX. The mobo supports up to a 125W quad-core Phenom. so you got some good upgradable advantage when the price drops. explanation: CPU: Brisbane revision is easier to overclock than Windsor and more energy efficient as well Mobo: AM2+ mobo, based on the newer AMD SB700 southbridge Fan: for overcloacking purposes only RAM: reliable brand GFX: need no explanation ![]() HDD: one of the biggest bang-for-the-buck drives Optical: sata for easier cable management Case: the case just looks nice, change it to a full ATX one if you want to. PSU: a quite and highly efficient one
