Dude you don't realize how bad aluminum blocks are?

Koolance is a brand you want to avoid!

And what 700lph pump did you get?? most "good" pumps are 1k+ I beleive

Other than that, you got a good set of hardware

Your font should not need to be at such a large size, remove the size tags man, we aren't blind!

I get the feeling that nobody knows what they are talking about.... these Koolance blocks are solid copper... its easiliy viewable on the koolance website.

There is two pumps in this loop one 700 l/h and one 500 l/h... the stonger pump is embedded in a 1000ml res made by XSPC, the other is a thermaltake pump, which i've been using for a while and it works fine... The idea is to split the load between pumps for longer pump life and increased flow; while protecting the comp from pump failure with redundant pumps. I've heard bad things about the pumps with higher flow, namely that they are loud or that they vibrate too much... the thermaltake pump is qiuet with no vibration and the XSPC pump is embedded in fluid so it should be almost silent.

This isnt the first WC rig i've done and i've planned it out well; of course everyone has opinions about what works best, but i'm going to trust my own judgement... taking advise from some of the folks that post on here is like going to Fry's or Best Buy and asking those guys for advise...

Some people have complained about the font being too small to read so I tried to make it easier for people to read... If U can read it easily, then good for you; other may not be able to... I dont know why but i get the feeling that the blocks will work just fine...

They do work its just Koolance has a record of using Aluminum in thier stuff and it causes ugly corrosion issues on other copper blocks...

And the stronger Pumps like MCP355 or MCP655/D5 are not loud, just keep a foam pad under them and you will never hear them

Shame about that, it WILL in my opinion let your system down, my pump went wrong after arround 6th months solid use

Other than that, nice setup your going to have! Just dont rush the wiring, or it wont look anything like you planned. I never bothered with my wiring, and I wish I had, looking into it now
If that thermaltake pump craps out, its no loss... we'll just buy another. Perhaps your pump went bad from being to hot or being under to much load; i.e. u try to push too much water with it... I dont know what design you used in the loop u had. I'm splitting the load between two pumps and I placed the Thermaltake pump in front of a fan to keep it from running hot and burning our prematurely. My wiring is totally custom, I'm routing wires ao they are hidden in the contours of the case and they will be permanent mounts. you will see the finshed results...

The previous posts were right.

The pump is crap, koolance blocks are crap (and their other products hah), and you should get a bigger rad: 3x120mm or 4x120mm.
A swiftech mcp655 could handle that loop I think, and it isn't loud.

Really good choice of cards!
xtcrulez! you and me will have to beat him in GPU score^^
I'd still use stock cooling though, and no 3d(CPU)mark

your reply here is somewhat irksome for me... do you own this rig? oh no, you have an intel rig, sorry bout that. I had intel for a while and ditched it.

Bnechmarking suites use synthetic test to stress your equipment... they dont use real world scenerios....I'm not building this so i can compare dick size with other people... i'm building this so i can admire my own craftsmanship, so i can enjoy it...

If I am understanding you correctly, you are putting 2 pumps in the same loop correct?

You cannot simply add the flow rates together. The faster pump will be limited by how fast the slower pump can go. You will actually be slowing the water down by using the less powerful pump, or worse, the lesser pump could fry/break from the force of the larger pump trying to force water through it faster than it can pump.
