You may want to consider 8GB of RAM. I apprentice with a professional photographer and I've seen individual projects get quite large, and he sometimes leaves multiple projects open at once (though he's got 16GB in a dual G5). When you start working with large-format digital (10MP+) projects seem to grow quickly. Even with my measly 6.3MP DSLR I've gotten close to using my full 4GB of RAM.

Flying Wallaby,
__________________I know what you mean about the big files. Mine are 10mp out of my camera. Hopefully with this system I can work on them as 16bit files instead of 8 bit in CS3. My last system took forever if I worked with 16 bit files. I might end up getting another 4GB down the road. Do you guys run the 64 bit Vista?

I'm getting Vista in a few days. Vista Ultimate 64bit. You should be pleased with that build for the most part, although I still do recommend a 8800gs (something cheap) for your build. There getting close to $50 now.
