Now, that motherboard is just a placeholder really, until ASUS gets their act together and releases the m3a79 t deluxe. Besides that, what do you guys think?

good build, but I would change some parts, save some money, get a better/bigger screen:

Components:

Mobo: BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX A2+ (the updated 750 South Bridge gives better overclocking potential because of the new Advanced Clock Calibration feature, 35$ combo discount with Phenom 9850BE)
RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 4-4-4-12 timing (dont fall for other cooling gimmicks)
GFX: PNY GeForce GTX 260 896MB (almost on pair with ATi offering but cheaper, way better if you f@h)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB (faster and quiter)
PSU: PC Power & Cooling S61EPS 610W (more than enough)
OS: Vista 64-Bit Home Premium (to take advantage of 4GB+ RAM)
LCD: SAMSUNG 2493HM Glossy Black 24" 5ms DVI HDMI Widescreen (worth the investment)

Ok, I changed my ram and the hard drive, but I'm looking for 790fx with the new South bridge, waiting for the asus release m3a79t deluxe. and as far as the gtx 260, I'm getting the radeon with the intent to crossfire somewhere down the road. I agree about 64 bit vista, and I was originally looking at the 610w from PP&C, thanks for solidifying my opinion about it.

Sorry for the Hijack, but I noticed in the accessories of the mobo that SZayat posted, there is a DCCFX card, that seems to me that it fits in a PCI-E card. What does that do?
