Figured I'd start one of these... I wrote it in Notepad, just haven't put it in here until today.

Anyways, after the untimely death of my S939 Rig, I was left without a computer. To Newegg I went, and bought the following parts:

- AMD Athlon64 X2 5400+ Black Edition (Brisbane)
- MSI K9A2 Platinum AMD790FX
- 2x 2GB G.Skill DDR2 1000
- Seagate 500GB SATA 3.0GB/s (to add to my other two, making RAID5)
- Lite-On SATA DVD-RW w/ Lightscribe (Cus I got fed up with IDE cables, matches other one, too)
- Scythe Andy CPU Cooler

Friday 09/05/2008:
Everything arrived. Will put together tomorrow. Too sleep deprived now...

Saturday 09/06/2008:
Everything's installed! Unfortunately, I fail'd hard, and was unable to set up RAID5... as the motherboard does not support it. I'll order another hard drive asap.

Wednesday 09/10/2008:
So I installed Windows XP x64 on a single drive for the time being, and will be using the system as such until I get my other hard drive ordered/installed. Should be ordered by Friday, and installed as soon as it arrives.

10 Minutes Ago:
Installed new HD into case, and replaced all SATA cables. Set up RAID10, with great success! The RAID drivers that came on the mobo CD were corrupt, so I had to DL the SB600 drivers from elsewhere, and it worked for that part of the Windows install. Currently, it's installing Windows! =)

Pictures need a complete computer.

Camera took RAW photos, cannot convert until Photoshop CS2 is installed, which requires a computer. Which is STILL formatting...

1TB is a lot.
