I built This BEAST for under one grand on NeweggAfter a quick assembely, (thanks to tool less installation on my Raidmax case) I cranked this baby up. After installing Vista Ultimate, I was prepared to Unleash the Beast. I reached speeds of 3.338 GHZ on air with a Phenom 9950 Black Editon and an aftermarket cooler. Even at stock speeds, this baby runs Crysis at max settings flawlessly. Why pay $1000+ for an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor, when you can save $800 of it and just overclock the Phenom 9950.

The Cables are tied together, and I use almost all of them, so it looks cool. The cold cathode add to the effect. I got the case (after rebates) for 34.99 on Newegg.

Overclocked the CPU to 3.420 today. Ran for an hour and then it got a little (39 C) hot so I put it back to 3.0

Curious if you tried it at 3.2 and what the results were?
