Indeed.

I was never a fan of the clip-ons, but there are some that do a great job... still I prefer screwing things.

i like amd design the most, cause it let the cooler sit first, and then u hook it on,

the way zerotherm design is u have to tilt it 40 degree to hook one side and then u put it down for another, and i feel it's not perfectly attached, but that's just a feeling

screw ones are good, but no doubt it's too much hassle, everytime it require to take the mobo out.

Looks good!
Did the CPU kind of seem stuck to the HS? If the two surfaces mate well the CPU will seem that way without any TIM. (still use the TIM though)

OMG! I tested out a ZeroTherm... I can't agree with you more. I did like the cooler as it was "decent" but that clip-crap really gets me goat.

As for some of the screw-mounted coolers, you may not have to remove the mobo each time. Some have a backplate wherein the receivers sit inside the holes of the mobo. If one is careful and the manufacturer/production was good, the backplate will stay in place.

i think they should just make the AMD backplate screw hole a standard universal size instead of making their own.
