1) I lol'd at your descriptions. Very nice and entertaining.

2) THAT'S WHERE I GOT THOSE ZIP TIES FROM! I was cleaning drawers the other day, came across a zip bag with itty bitty black zip ties and was like "...eh?" They're as useless as you were probably expecting, as I've had them for a year and didn't even know it.

Mud truck boxes are lame. Mud truck splash screens are even worse.

Give 'em a break. They're engineers, not graphic designers. You're not supposed to put the box in your computer, just hide it in a closet somewhere.

I had a friend when I was little, we used to play POD and Monster Truck Madness all the time on his computer. It was super great 'cause he had a force-feedback joystick!

Anyways his BIOS splash screen had a super-pixelated mudtruck. I thought it was the bee's knees but I was seven, so...

My abit IP35 Pro has a horrible splash too. Made me cringe the first time I booted, and any time I need to clear CMOS.

it doesnt hurt. and it isnt very good marketing if they sell in stores and not just online. if you were to walk into a shop and you saw that board next to a DFI DK board or similar, i guarentee you'd look at the DFI one first.

not saying the board is bad or anything, in fact, its probably a great board, just that looks can be all the difference.

Thanks. It's really amazing what a couple pieces of white poster board can do for a product shoot.

I shoot with a Nikon D50 w/ 50mm F1.8 lens. The lighting was terrible downstairs, but I haven't gotten around to fixing my softbox yet (it got smashed moving).
