I'm new
I'm doing my first upgrade and I have been hearing about overclocking the cpu? is it something i would need to do? I am waiting for my combo in the mail. Its the AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition Processor and Foxconn A79A-S AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard. I'll be powering it with a 600w Ps. I play games like COD4 and 5 would I even need to overclock? I'm upgrading from a pavilion a250n 478 p4 I know its a Dino oh one more thing how well will my video card work on the new board. its a 8400 GS pci ?
