Mmmhm. The case comes with that PSU, so its not a bad deal. I'll change it later if i have to, but it will do for now i'm thinking.

I bought the Dominator RAM with a view to OC it. Never own any before myself, but heard a lot about them.

For the price i payed for a budget rig, wow great performance i have to say!

Microsoft Vista Ultimate 64Bit
AMD 7750+ BE @ 3.2Ghz
Xigmatek Red Scorpion S1283 HDT
Asus M2N68
X1950 Pro 256MB @ 600/750
2GB Corsair Dominator @ 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 320GB
CoolerMaster eXtreme Power Plus 460W
CoolerMaster Elite 330

GFX card wise, i was looking for the XT or XTX first since there were quite old & thought they'd be cheap, but the XT was going for around £70 and the XTX in the £150+ on eBay. The Pro was £25.

All those saying i won't be able to run COD 5 on high?! I can play COD 5 on maxed out GFX settings on the game, everything enabled with 2x AA & 2x AF on a res 1280x1024. I get on average 50FPS! All for a GFX card i got for £25. Why pay an extra £100 for a 4850 or w/e when for £25 i have amazing smooth GFX with full GFX settings!

Yes it won't run Crysis well i imagine, but i'm not a fan of it. The only downsides i see at the moment is that it runs HOT! COD 5 gets the temps upto 65.C tops. Plus (like i've heard) doesn't OC well, but i have no need as i get great fps.

The new 7750+ BE is a great cpu. Wacked on a S1238 HDT & OC'd to 3.2Ghz just by changing the Multi and nothing else. Runs roughly 20.C idle & 35.C max on load (gaming etc). No stress tests yet. Going to try aim for 3.4Ghz. All this on a old £40 board. Not bad ay.

I'm starting to wonder, all those times in the past when i bought top spec items and spending a fortune.. did i really need to? Now, £40 for board, £25 GFX, £65 CPU = 50FPS on COD 5 maxed out & 3.2 (so far) OC on 7750+ BE.
