I was using my roommate's camera, and it just stopped. I don't think it died, it just stopped. So, I need to see if I can find another camera to finish with the pictures. Turns out the fan buzzing was because of the zip ties, and now I have matching fans on the Xiggy with minimal noise. Going to use the high speed fan as a rear exhaust. I ended up taking out one of my dual front input fans, as I was hiding enough cables in that gap that airflow can't have been great anyway. I will post more pictures, and let you guys know how the BIOS flash goes, later tonight. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Any reason you can't mount the s1283 vertically so the ram slots arent being blocked? my 830 barely fit my TRUE with 2 fm121's (the fan wall was touching the side of one of the fans) but it still fit.

Ya, the AM2+ mounting bracket only allows it to be mounted in one direction, sadly. It's one of the few disadvantages of AMD's board layouts. Intel, you can position it all 4 ways. AMD only allows 2 directions, though. I don't think I will end up having more than 4GB of RAM any time soon, anyway.

And so far, I have it up to 3.2 GHz at stock voltages on everything. 14x Multiplier sure beats the 9x on my E8400. Idle temperature is 26 C, and full load is somewhere in the low 40s. I just can't find the option in my BIOS to unlink my RAM. I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but right now my RAM is running DDR2 920 5-5-5-15 (stock DDR2 800 4-4-4-12) and working great. Prime is an hour stable, so time to keep cranking that Soulja Boy up moar and MOAR!

I have noticed recently this chip fails Prime95 differently. My E8440 would just go to a black screen and hard reboot. This CPU (currently getting 3.4 GHz stable) actually gets the "Fatal Error, Test Has Stopped" message instead of just rebooting. I guess I'm dancing the stability line right now.

More pics to come this evening. And I will keep pushing this OC. Temps are still low, Voltage increase is minimal, and stability is almost there. I think I may game tonight, since passing Prime95 and having real-world stability are 2 different things.

And a question for oyu guys. Does anyone know where the BIOS option is to unlink the RAM? It's running close to DDR2 1000 now, and I'd like to downclock it a bit.

Time for more pictures. Finally got it running decently stable. Still haven't bothered putting on side panels or connecting the front ports. Just having a functional PC and tweaking it is good enough right now.

My whole set up. No, it's not too big for me, lol.



Finally went to the trouble of a Push-Pull set up. Temps are good, and noise is low, so it seems to have worked.



The whole system with the door open. Flash makes those other pictures look so... Unnatural.



1337 Cable-Managing Skills. Still need to pluf in the front panel though, lol.



I guess now I will take requests, and I will post screenies as I go with my OC.
