Good to hear you got all the kinks worked out. Also I see your RAM has checked-out as Dual Channel!

That'd have been a shame if it didn't come up that way.

I figure my 3dMark scores will completely suck thanks to my x1950XTX. : /

Sure, the CPU score may be decent, but this thing isn't great at SuperPi, and with suck a bad GPU, I have a feeling the "gaming" benches won't be very accurate. As for pushing it farther, I plan on just overvolting this thing to the breaking point tonight (1.65V+) to see if I can break this dang wall I seem to have hit at 3640.

I'll keep you guys posted.

OK, even with voltages bordering on insane (59C load, 1.66V) I couldn't get 270 x 14 to boot. I know it's not a FSB issue, because I had this boot as high as 300 x 11. I guess this chip's wall is just a very strong wall, lol.

3.6 is still a pretty good overclock though for that. I've only heard of 1 other guy get a 3.7 and another guy hit 4.0 on that chip. If i had that 920 and got it to 3.6 i would be pretty happy with that OC. good work man

Haha I dont know I like the way it looks. I got a question for you and maybe its already answered in here somewhere but I just skimmed through but im pretty bad at skimming(lazy). Does your xiggy cool better since it looks like the airflow is going down instead of up now? I got mine pointed up and blowing into the top exhaust but I dont like it at all cause its like a inch away from my graphics card. I keep wondering if I flip the exhaust fan and the heatsink if it would work better.

I'm really sure if it helped temperatures to put it vertical, since I had it on an Intel Dual Core with 1 fan, to an AMD Quad Core, and a push pull fan configuration. So, enough factors changed at once I can't really test if the direction it's mounted helps. Of course, I don't have a choice, anyway, thanks to AMD's mounting system.

Well, I have pretty much narrowed it down to my 24/7 OC now. The CPU is running at 3.6 GHz (300 x 12) with the HTT Link at 1800 MHz and the NB clocked to 2100 MHz. The RAM is DDR2 800 right now, at 5-4-4-10, and I can't get it to boot effectively at the next RAM divider higher. Now, tweaking to lower my voltages, and see what my temps are like.

Sorry this turned out to be a pretty boring build log, lol. Still, any requests for benches to run or pictures to take are welcome.
