I wouldn't use virtualization so I'm going to stick with 9500

Seriously, if the 9500 is cheaper, get it.

Also, i'd spring for the 4830 over the 4670, it's a much quicker GPU.
Thanks for the GPU suggestion but 2 things:
1) It costs roughly $40 more than 4670.
2) from AMD "450 Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express® power connector recommended". My PSU is 430 watt

Thanks for those suggestions.

You forgot a motherboard though. Add in tax and shipping and the board and I'm going over 500

How are ASUS graphics compared to Sapphire? They don't look at nice, but what about performance?

I am a Nvidia fan so I don't know much about ATI but their all the same. They are all ATI cards so the difference will nmot be that much. Warranties might be different and some clock speeds. But you won't find a 4670 at one speed and find another 4670 that has speeds 10x faster.

This looks like a good motherboard to start with. I think you should find the motherboard first than look for the CPU. I think the mobo is the most important. Than CPU. At least IMO.
