Default Which Bundle Would You Pick?

Ok so if you were to get one of these < $700 bundles which one would you pick assuming you are not overclocking?

AMD/ATI Build:
CPU: AMD Phenom II 940 X4 920 @ 2.80GHz
GPU: Sapphire HD4850 512MB
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
--------
$420 Shipped (About)

Intel/NVIDIA Build:
CPU: Intel C2Q Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
CPU: XFX 9800GT 512MB
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R
--------
$450 Shipped (About)

These parts will also be included:
Case: Raidmax Smilodon Mid-Tower
RAM: 4GB G.Skill DDR2-1066
HD: 80GB + 500GB Western Digital (Have)
PSU: Antec EarthWatts 650W (Have)
Optical: LG DVD-Burner
OS: Windows XP Home OEM
--------
$265 Shipped (About)

AMD/ATI Build: $685
Intel/NVIDIA Build: $715

Please try not to be a fanboy and just tell me what you think is the better price/performance setup and remember that this isn't going to be overclocked.

Yeah, I always see people picking Intel which I've had and know is truly better but don't see how AMD could be wrong when it's a budget + not overclocked. I just haven't had one in years and want to know if it's performance is well.

Default AMD for sho'

considering that you are not overclocking, and the performance of the 940 sits nicely above q8300 I would go with the 940. Some may argue that the 940 and the q8300 have the same performance, so I would just say go with the higher clock speeds, which is the 940 anyways

Yeah that is a good combination I see a lot of people do that but for some reason I just like using the two brands together.

An even better way to compare: take that extra $30 from the AMD and buy the 4870 (they're about $30-40 more than the 4850) and even the prices out.
See what everybody chooses then... - I like intel but the AMD especially with a 4870 would dominate.
