I have been lookin around for a while tryin to build a nice comp but im never sure if the build is dependable or if all the pieces will work on the motherboard. I dont need an OS keyboard mouse or monitor. im willing to spend around $600 for the comp any suggestions for builds? I only need it for gaming lol

Do you need an OS or any peripherals i.e. KB/mouse, monitor, etc.? Are you transferring anything from your old computer?

Your 4 mintues have elapsed...LOL! j/k
OP--what resolution are you going to be gaming at? What games? Do you have a preference of dual/tri/quad core? I'd suggest the P II quad, but get back to us with specifics of what you want to do/play.

As for videocard I would suggest a HD4830, great value. I'm sure others will post some other parts you can use.

regarding dual/tri/quad. That's referring to the number of cores in the processor. Each core can process commands. Generally the more you have, the better. But price increases accordingly. I'd just suggest a quad (4) core Phenom II if you want AMD. They're plenty fast, overclock fairly easily too. And it should fit into your budget. I think others can probably suggest a list of components to use for a good setup (I'm not so great at picking the best prices).
