99 dollars. And I have heard good things about them. I would love to go with an Antec, but to much money

If you're making a completely new build, why not go AM3/DDR3?

With $1300, we can build you a very nice rig that include them.

I dunno. Will I be able to get the same graphics card. Plus that 1300 includes a new monitor and a mouse. And the monitor is like 230 (its on the front page of newegg right now). All of the DDR3 Mem that I've seen is really expensive. Id the change that worth it

You are better off going with the DDR3, however everyone is saying that you can only use DDR2 1066 in all 4 dimms at 800 MHZ instead of 1066, not true. You can run into issues but with the proper voltage cooling and right ram you can. I run all 8 GIGs of my Dommintaor PC8500 at 1066, and I can even run them up to 1100MHZ stable

The mother board has limitations. It has to do with AMD CPUS thats what ASUS said looked on newegg for AM3 processors and couldnt find anything. I dunno what to do, I could get DDR3, so expensive

With the asus Mb you can run all for slots full at 1066 you just have to force it in the bios I did it for like a year no problem. Also with that budget go 4870 and pick another psu please

Don't take what it says on newegg about only running 1066 in two slots it crap I promise
