After some RMA's and some thought I will be rebuilding my system. What do you guys think of replacing these 3 things. My plan is to go Quad SLI some day.
• BIOSTAR TA790GX 128MB • SAPPHIRE HD4870 X2 2GB • CORSAIR 650TX 650W Power Supply For: • ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe • BFG GTX295 • Corsair CMPSU-1000HX Power Supply I should be getting the BFG GTX295 later today. The others in about 2 weeks. What do you guy think? What would add or take from this build?

Why not just get another 4870X2 instead of a 295? It would be cheaper for pretty much the same performance.
That PSU is really good, you can't go wrong with it ![]() EDIT: you don't really need that much power for a 22inch monitor.

im an nvidia fanboy hands down and an amd fan. but with the am3 and am2 phenom i have to say ati is the way to go. i originally wanted to go sli but am2 platform has very poor offerings imo for sli.

Because I have had to many problem with ATI, I tough Nvidia had bad driver problems. I'm also getting a refund on my RMA. The way I think of it it. Whats another 50 bucks for a better card. +Rep for any help, suggestions, and or recommendations.

4870x2 is 300w and GXT295 is 289w so you don't need to upgrade your psu unless do GTX295 SLI. If you plan to do SLI, GTX285 SLI is better in term of the balance of performance and price.

Don't upgrade the PSU I think. The performance gain you will see from a HD4870x2 to a GTX295 won't be much so you may want to reconsider that.
