Why 8GB?

The 8500GT is near useless for gaming.... The 1GB DDR2 onboard memory is really wasted...

You should be able to overclock the GPU by 20-50%.

That'll help us out, fill that out

:edit:

8GB is alot for that build. You'd do fine with just 3. However, it makes it future-upgradeable. See if you can pick up an 8800GTS 512MB or an 8800GT or higher :P

he meant it for mainstream gaming in hybrid sli. like the 780g+3450 in hybrid crossfire. it should perform like a 8600gt. but yeah, 1gb on that gpu is a waste. i'm guessing you're playing games like war3, right?

hmm you should have gone for a brisbane core since they run cooler. a 45w tdp model like the x2 5050e. and ddr2 800 at least. otherwise, the build is great.

cheers

The 780V doesn't support Hybrid Crossfire.... and certainly not with a NVIDIA card...
