so a gpu in that sense would lead me where?
IDE is slower than SATA but it wont matter much

You can run WarHammer and WoW on max graphics and I predict crysis on mid settings. I wont worry about Diablo 3 and StarCraft II much because in general Blizzard games are well optimised

lol, what low strife meant is that you need a faster CPU (Phenom II, Core i7) inorder to unleash the full potential of 4870 or anyother highend card.

FWIW, I think 7750 Kuma and HD 4830 are well balaced and both are easily overclockable too

just clock the cpu as high as you can to eliminate the bottleneck. as simple as that.

alright, so if i get like a X2 2.7 or so on, what would i need to OC it to to eliminate the bottleneck, cuz i will obviously want to leave room for upgrading and crossfire'n it later on.

i assume getting another card would be the best solution if i wanted to run dual monitor?

I believe you can overclock Kumo to a stable 3.1GHz on stock voltage and heatsink. Expect more with a voltage bump and an aftermarket cooler.

You don't need to buy another graphics card for the second monitor. Radeon HD 4830 card has two vga output, you only might need to buy an adapter.

I vote Kuma for CPU. It's based on Deneb, so it's going to clock like a monster. 3.7-3.8 under a TRUE with the right fans is well within the realm of possiblity!

As far as the dual monitors...no. Your HD4830 will come with the DVI adaptors incase your second monitor is VGA, and it is more than sufficient to run your desktop on both. Just don't try gaming on both.

and i want to use dvi for both considering the whole fact that vga isnt full digital. and that was kind of the plan, run a game on one and say a IM server, the internet(for tips n **** while playing) and just random other stuff.

really, i have a laptop too, so that is kind of redundant, but i would rather be able to use the same mouse/keyboard than switch over to my small laptop screen to fuel my needs.
