I'm sure that it will be a speedy fix. I just have to take everything out of the shop and clean the crap out of it. And, while it's out, spray everything down with the hose and clean. That should get rid of everythign that could screw up a coating. Then, I'm going to build a makeshift spray booth. The problem that Ihave with this is that my high cfm fan (5000+ cfm) has bad bearings and they will have to be replaced before I can start again. But, it will be fixed and setup by the end of the week.

Edit: Oh, and I will be coating my Guardian here shortly so there will be no shortage of coating to look at

. I'm about to upload pics of the stripped parts that CR requested. It's in the Case Mod Work Log section.

Well, I got all the wires back into the case. Surprisingly, the door shuts!

There are only four things left to do before it is complete:

1) Fix the CCFL switch(es)*
2) Change the eye-bleeding-inducing-bright blue power LED out for a red power LED (maybe)
3) Replace the broken fan controller wire going to the rear exhaust fan
4) Install the other HD 4870x2

I am debating if I should post pictures now, or wait until 1-3 are remedied.

*I may splice both inverters onto one molex/switch and just tape the switch in place. Right now, I have both inverters on their own switch. Both have double-sided tape to hold them in place. One is holding, one is not. Alternatively, if I can get the courage to do so, I will drill 1/16" holes such that I can screw the switches in place as if they were still on the PCI brackets they come with. (I cannot fit the brackets once I install the second HD 4870x2 unless I ditch the USB hub, in which case, I will be short at least one USB port.)

Looks good so far. I can see why you would want to change out that blue led. Just a little more wire management and your looking even better.

Seriously, those of you who know me know that this is the best wire-managed case I have ever owned. In order to get any better, I will need to:

(1) Buy a remote switch for the CCFLs (I am debating it, but $20 is a pretty penny)
(2) Buy FDD extension cables such that I can run them behind the mobo rather than in front of it
(3) Replace my sound card with one that does not require that bulky ribbon cable to attach to the front bay

The astute will notice in picture one that there is a virtual CCFL due to the mirrored effect of TDN1979's coating. The bulb above the DVD drives does not exist; it is a pure reflection.

Or you could get out the soldering Iron and heat shrink and spend like 4 dollars and have some fun.

But then again I personally couldn't care less about wire management (I change this soo often it's not worth it), as long as the airflow is fine.
