I am pretty sure it is driver issues. GPU1 is physically on the primary card, GPU3 is on the secondary card. If both coalescing cores were on the same card, I would be more inclined to believe it was hardware issues.

All I'm saying is it's worth 5 min of your time just to rule out the possibility. It's your system so no one is gonna force you to run extensive diagnostic proceedures to get to the bottom of the issue.
Have you been able to find any other folders w/same cards exibting the same behaviors?

This is another reason why I want to get an HD 5870x2 when they come out, it will be easier to fold on. I right now get about 7500 PPD from my GPUs, but doing so requires that I disable crossfire and enable monitors, which takes some time. Even then, as I said, I can only fold on three cores at 2500 PPD each. The HD 5870 seems to pull in a fuzz under 5000 PPD, so an HD 5870x2 should be around 10,000 PPD, and all I will need to do is enable or disable the monitor, not crossfire as well. I just hope I can find buyers of my cards.
