LOL. OK Drack.

I'm at home now, and have put a stick of good OCZ RAM in DIMM 1 - still not firing up. Also I have both XMS2 sticks in the old PC and its works perfectly well and recognises all 4GB of RAM in BIOS - so the RAM is good.

Good job I picked up a new HDD today as its looking more likely to be either a HDD issue or something on the motherboard.

I'm going to bench test it tonight, so if you are around later or early in the morning in your case, that's what I'll be up to starting from the next hafl hour or so.

Well, the bench test failed, still got nothing although I can't hear the HDDc spin up with it on the bench, I'm rebuilding it and taking it to the PC shop on Monday, for $65 he said he'll look at it and get it working. I've tried everything and still can't get it to work properly, sometimes it'll fire up but when I want to add RAM it doesn't like it. Oh well.

The Motherboard, PSU, RAM, CPU, cooling fans are all within warranty / gaurantee, so I'll let them sort it out.

Thanks for the ideas guys, but I'm beat.
