Default My New Build - Phenom nom nom - Comments encouraged

So, I've been saving up some money to get rid of my old Pentium D Dual Core system and finally got enough to buy new guts, minus the case, HD's, and Optical drive. So let me know what you think, I will post pics when I get the shipment in...

So here's the parts list:
GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4H
Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz
ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
OCZ Platinum Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 I got two sets of this memory, one with the cooler and one without for a total of 8GB.

I already have:
Sunbeamtech Transformer ATX
320GB Western Digital 16mb Cache HDD
500GB Seagate HDD (Not sure about the cache, Will look later)
LG DVD DL DVD+-R/RW
Rosewill 600W Power Supply (I highly Recommend)

I will take pictures of my case and stuffs later.

EDIT: I will be installing Vista Business 64Bit as it is free from my school.

I've been a fan of this particular Zalman since it came out, it has always worked wonders. So I guess I am just a creature of habit.

Maybe someday I'll grow up to that Koolance watercooled system that I only have dreams of...

Thanks for the input, could you tell me what other coolers there are? Thanks!

Sure:

Scythe Mugen 2 for $32 at newegg if it ever gets back in stock or $40 almost anywhere else:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185093

Xigmatek S1283 for $27 AR

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233003

Both of these will destroy the zalman AND cost less, a win win situation. Just make sure you make measurements to verify clearance with both coolers as they are rather large.

Ah, I like them. Maybe I'll consider for my next build and/or Newegg order.
