Matters really. When you overclock are you gonna use the clock freq or just the multiplier?
i agree those are good timings, but the voltage is at the high end of ddr3. Though if you have good air flow over the ram i would never worry, plus if you are going to underclock them you can lower the voltages.

So should i stick with the special ops since i don't know what exactly i'm going to be doing. i'm climbing the learning curve right now after high school i stopped working on computers and went to cars. this will be my first build/overclock i'm confident i can work it out, with a little help.

all my credit card info is in newegg i'm on the last screen just itching to push the button but i don't want to learn something in the next couple days and wish i chosen something different
but my sony viao*ugh* is really not doing it for me anymore and i want to get this party started ASAP

Understandable.

The only reason id go with the special ops one is in the hopes that the newer 800 chipset and future procs will utilizes the higher bandwidth better. Im sure they will, just who knows when. But for now, with your system id be happy with even 1066 with tight timings.

so, i guess the rest is just up to personal choice.

well i prefer relative future proofness and do plan to upgrade so i'll leave it with the special ops i'm sure it's too late to have my order processed today so i will be submiting my order sometime tonight after i can't read anymore forums how-to's and reviews or maybe someone else will ad there 2 cents and i'll have to start all over.

Thanks
