Default Suggestions on build

Alright trying to make the best bang for buck build. My limit budget is $500, but if the performance is worth going over I'm fine with that.

I already own

OCZ Reaper DDR2 800 4Gb
EVGA 8800 GT
Seagate 320Gb
Antec 550w

So really I just need a case, Mobo, CPU, HSF, and Drive.
Here is what I came up with let me know if improvements can be made.

Antec 300
Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P
AMD Phenom II 720 BE
Samsung 22x
Xigmatek Dark Knight

Total - $485.12 Shipped.

Any and all help appreciated and rewarded with rep of course.

Looks great but my recommendations:

1. If you are going to be overclocking I'd recommend a better cooler like the TRUE you have for your i7.
2. Newegg has an open box ASUS M4A78T-E that only costs $ 95.25 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16813131366R).
3. LG Optical Drive's are just as good. I own 2 LG Optical Drive's and I have not had any problems with them. It's easy and safe to update the firmware. I highly recommend LG Optical drive's.

Keep the 720, HSF and Gigabyte Mobo.
Get this DVD burner, I agree with 45nm.

I have owned a few myself and they are great drives. As for the case, everyone has different taste so if you like that one then go for it. I personally have this and I like it but cable management is really tough.

Good luck to ya.

Thanks for you replies.

I'm not going to be overclocking to high maybe 3.3Ghz at most and I've read a lot of people saying the 720 does fine at 3.3Ghz on the stock cooler. So I think the Dark Knight is more than efficient.

I'll consider the open box I'm kinda skeptical but a lot of people have said it usually comes with everything and no issues.

I'll go with the LG I don't really care what brand of Optical drive I choose.

the LG is in the head of its class when it comes to read and write, but it fails bad at ripping. Good thing i only use it to read and write. The xigmatek s1283/ dark knight is a great cooler for the price. Slap another 120mm exhausting air and it will be even better . Or in your case two ultra kaze's. That must be loud!

I'm not sure if you have fans or not but the antec 300 only comes with the 2 exhaust fans so be sure to get yourself some fans.

I'm thinking about putting some S-Flex in there or some cheap red led fan here

Not sure which to get the price for the led fan is so cheap lol.
