So the gain from 4-8 gigs of RAM is minimal/unnecessary?

I will compare the Gigabyte with the DFI later today.

4gigs for any 32 bit system as it only read a MAX of 4 gigs will only read like 3.3 or somthing and if you have a 64 bit OS you can do 8gigs if you want but probably not needed unless your going hardcore nuts with extra background stuff

I'm planning on running 64-bit as apparently Microsoft is pushing towards it.

Anyone one else vouch for AC MX-2?

I can vouch for mx-2 i love it. However in more recent tests ocz freeze has outperformed it.

I always felt like AS5 and the Arctic Silver line (Ceramique) was a bit think and hard to work with. Are these two easier in that regard?

I concur. My friend went though a nightmare trying to RMA one of their boards

MX-2 is thinner
I think you'll like it.

OCZ freeze is really annoying to spread however

Sadly my 940 + 4870 combo just expired.
Hopefully there will be 4770 combo deals!

The OCZ psu used to always be the cheapest around but now its keeps rising in price. Plus I've heard their rebate process is horrendous. Anyone heard good things about Tuniq?
