Yes it is. Only other thing I can say is buy parts off of people from OCN to save some money, or get better parts cheaper.

Side fans are not really questionable it's the postion . More airflow to components such as Northbridge certainly will help. Front and rear fans only blow 1 way....LOL

Indeed.

It is the uni-directional airflow that I prefer, and side fans add a perpendicular flow to the mix. Ergo: increased turbulence (also dictated by the ratio of the cfm of the fans, and the cf of the enclosure).
