Update 2:38PM EST

4GHz, w00t! And SuperPI 1M is down to 17.501s, I'm going for the overclock.net AMD record lol.



The spot on the top of the case is just the flash, it looks like blue paint lol.


I decided to throw 2 pieces of MDF I had lying around into a desk, I was really exciting about using this.


SuperPI 1M - 18.392s
SuperPI 32M - 19m 17.694s (at 3.69GHz though, not at 3.79GHz, I don't want to always re-run a 20min test for just a 100MHz increase)



I'm downloading 3DMark06 and Vantage right now, so I'll post some more pictures soon.



Original Post

Ok, so I was planning on holding off on my new build until I had a desk for it, but I'm way too impatient. The build is as follows:

Asus M4A79T Deluxe
Phenom II 955
XFX 4890 x2
WD VelociRaptor x2 (Raid 0)
Mushkin DDR3 1600 8GB (4 x 2GB)
Pioneer BDR-203 x2
Cosmos S
CM Real Power Pro 1250W
V10 CPU Cooler




I don't actually know how well the V10 will work...There's so many reviews about it, and they all say something different...that's so awesome...


Windows 7 (Build 7100) installed easily, there was only a very small problem getting the raid drivers to install during setup.

I'm going to install Fear 2 now and play that until the morning...
I'll update with more pictures, benchmarks, ect...I just can't, not be playing games on this right now...

Amazing build, but I would return that cooler asap if I were you. It doesn't even perform as well as a TRUE or Megahalem but costs twice as much. For just a little more you could have gotten a great watercooling setup.
