Default My Budget Gaming Build

Here is a new build i was working on. Thanks to This Noob Again for the combo deal. What do you guys think of it so far?

I had a few questions, what type of games could play at full hd resolution? Also with the Kuma could I play full HD blu-ray movies?

All shipped for 500 bucks, pretty good deal if I do say so myself.

Might be getting this 1080p Samsung for 150 shipped as well.

I'm glad i shopped around, I didn't know I could put somethign liek this together for the price.

Ok, I would say that is a hell of a computer for the money. However, if you plan on playing at HD resolutions, as games get more and more involved and require more graphics horsepower the only option you have to is replace your video card. I would suggest not going with the combo deal, and replace it with what I've attached. Costs you another $40 or so, but in my opinion opens up your graphics capabilities with Crossfire immensely.

Ok then, I found this combo deal with a better processor and a crossfire mobo.

What cards would you suggest for a Crossfire duo for 1080p gaming?

Thanks for everyone who has contributing thus far.

I would spend just a few more $(not much) and go Phenom II 550 dual core. They are around $100.

I never bought a motherboard that did not have sata cables.. Oh yes I did. Before sata was available.

I would only do this if your $500 Budget isn't a very strict one. You've already made a concession on the Motherboard. If you switch to a Phenom II 550, you're quickly approaching $600. While not too much for some people, someone who's trying to stay to a $500 budget starts to stretch it by 20%.

As for this, the 4850 that you have there is a perfect starting card. The 4850's in Crossfire are pretty epic. You have the 1GB one there, pick up another when they are economical and you have a very competitive Gaming Rig on a nice tight budget. Any more questions, keep 'em coming.
