I'm wondering what kind of powersupply I should get? I didn't realize there's so many options with powersupplies and I don't know the difference between them. I'll be using this pc to record shows and rip DVD's to my Hard drives and i'll be using windows 7 RC1 and media center to watch tv/movies/music. also was wondering about quality of the onboard HDMI. I have a nice pcie sound card and use optical cable for my Harman Kardon 7.1 avr 345 which sounds great now. Would the onboard HDMI be the same quality for picture and sound? Also I'm planning on getting a bluray drive once they comeout with faster read speeds.

Get a Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, OCZ, BFG, Ultra X3, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, Xigmatek, or Zalman power supply. 500ish watts should be enough. Get more if you want to upgrade.

Why do you need such a powerful HTPC?
I would get the Corsair 400CX for $35 shipped on Newegg. (Check the deal section for the promo code)

I'm planning on running windows 7 and right now it eats my proc and ram. I just want a very stable htpc that can easily handle ripping dvds, recording shows, streaming to xbox360 and watching netflix movies all at the same time without any problems. Plus I want it to keep up for the next couple years.
