id stick with the 720 be and the gigabyte mobo over tgat combo deal, biostar boards always have some sort of problems, just like ecs... which is why most vendors basically give the boards away for free.

gts 250 replaced the 9800gtx+, pretty much teh same but smaller, and comes in 1gb versions as well. its decent but a gtx 260 core 216 or gtx 275 will be much faster. Also just buy 2 more gb of same ram.

if you render and encode a lot then go with the 940 deal, if not stick with the 720
so will the gtx 275 be bottlenecked at all by the 720 @ stock?

Yes, but generally bottlenecking is exaggerated IMO. Unless you're trying to run a GTX 275 paired with a Pentium 4 or something along those lines I wouldn't worry about it.

Besides, you can get a modest OC with the 720 on stock cooler and that'll help a bit.

the 275 will be fine with the 720. you can get at least a 3.2 oc on stock cooler and stock volts
