Well for computers its not that big of deal, Either way OP any of those setups would work just fine...

Edit: Just go with what you can afford but just remember don't skimp out on the mobo as it is the second most important thing in your system the first being the PSU...

i agree with that and i like the 940. it clocks well. but tator is right when he says the am3 is the better build for upgrading in the future. you could always get the 940 now and downt he road get an am3 processor use it for a bit and then when u can afford get an am3 board and ddr3 ram. but as of now the upgrade to am3/ddr3 is expensive
