Default Anything wrong with this build?

Phenom 2 X4 940 BE
MSI HD4870 1GB
2 x 2GB Corsair 1066
Asus M3A79-T Deluxe 790FX Motherboard
Corsair TX750W PSU
CM RC-690 Case
4 x 120MM Blue LED 2000rpm fans
Seagate Barracuda 320GB Harddrive

I wish to crossfire the 4870 at a later stage and get a better CPU cooler (V8 maybe?).

The only concerns I have are:

1) For now I want to use the stock cooler of the CPU, what temperatures will I expect to get?

2) The motherboard won't bottleneck the CPU right? I heard the M3A78 or something winds down your CPU to work with DDR2.

I think the rig looks pretty good. Stock cooler should be fine from what i have read. But in the future a aftermarket cpu cooler should be taken into consideration. As long as you are not overclocking stock cooler should be more than enough to perform the job.

As far as bottle necking the cpu i cant comment on this, but ddr2 1066 should be enough for you game at high settings. But i could be wrong.

Temps on that will be roughly 35-40c
That motherboard is fine for that cpu
The V8 is absolute rubbish, waste of money. You will be better off getting a titan fenrir which is alot better or a Noctua NH-U12P.

Hope this helps!

i got almost the same build and i get 30-45c cpu temps. you would be happy with that build. i would consider a different graphics card though. stick witha 4870 but get this one. Good luck man and enjoy

oh and i forgot get the scythe mugen-2 or the xigmatek dark knight as a cpu cooler (if your going to get one now.)
